Von der Leyen congratulates medicine Nobel recipients

Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Peter Hagemann and Georg Nagel and their American colleague Karl Deisseroth for winning this year's Nobel Prize for medicine. Their research marks a breakthrough in our understanding of the human brain. Supported also by Horizon Europe funding, they were able to open the door for future discoveries. Discoveries that might soon allow us to find treatments for dementia, depression, addiction and much more.
