Von der Leyen highlights the economic boost that NextGenEU brought to Croatia

Timely meeting with @AndrejPlenkovic ahead of the MED9 summit. We discussed our ongoing efforts to tackle current high energy prices. The economic boost that NextGenEU brought to Croatia is evidence of the power of our EU budget. And we agreed on the importance of equipping the upcoming one so that it can continue to support our EU priorities. We both welcomed the current momentum for EU enlargement. These discussions will also be front and centre at next week’s EUCO.
