    先の国会では、令和4年以来4年ぶりとなる『旅券法』の改正について、衆議院・参議院ともに全会一致で御承認をいただきました。 この改正の最大の目玉は、旅券(パスポート)の手数料の大幅な引き下げです。 今年の7月1日から、旅券の手数料は、オンライン申請で、 ① 18歳以上向けの旅券(有効期間10年)は、これまでの15,900円から8,900円に、 ② 18歳未満向けの旅券(有効期間5年)は、これまでの10,900円(12歳未満は5,900円)から4,400円に、 それぞれ引き下げられました。 その結果、7月の一か月間の国内における旅券の申請数は、昨年7月と比較して約1.7倍に増加しました。 今回の旅券手数料の引き下げにより、国民の皆様が旅券を取得しやすくなることを期待しています。
