Trump claims he has achieved the most consequential presidency in history and argues changing clocks twice a year is ridiculous and expensive.

President Trump Gaggles with Press Upon Departure from the White House, Oct. 3, 2026. A lot of you are coming. I'm going to Ohio. We're going to be campaigning for a couple very good people. I think we know about him. As you know, Senator Houston is running a race against Brown. It's horrible. They threw him out of the Senate once before. He's horrible. And they should have success. We have a tremendous crowd of people. I won Ohio three times. We got the highest votes in the history of the state. So, I like it very much. I love the people of Ohio and we're going to spend a little time and I hope you enjoy it. >> No, I love it. I think it's been a great I think it's the most productive two years. They say anybody of anybody in the history of the presidency. I think it's the most consequential two years of anybody in the presidency. And I only base that on the record. If you look at the record, if you look at what we've done, I think it's the most consequential presidency so far. And we're going to try and keep it that way. >> After after yesterday, the foundation, have you come any closer to make your big decision on Iran? >> Uh, we have a decision that I'll make about Iran. Iran's been decimated. So, the only question is it'll e it'll either be the easy way or the hard way. and we'll have it the easy way or the hard way. >> Yeah. I inherited high costs for from the Democrats or the Democrats as I call them because their policy is so bad. But we inherited a lot and we've gotten the prices down. Oil is coming down. Oil is right now lower and it's been lower than it was under the Biden administration. And they did nothing about the fact that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. By the way, Iran, as you know, is virtually given up any plans of a nuclear weapon. Why did they put on? We want to get away from this ridiculous way and custom of every twice a year turning your clocks back, turning your clocks forward, being late for dinner, being late for very important meetings. It's ridiculous. And if you look at the public, they agree that's a 100% issue. 65% I'll give you an example. Right now, we're sitting out here. It's light. It's nice. If you come down here in in another three weeks, it'll be dark. It'll be who wants it? We want our sunlight in the afternoon. But more importantly than that, we don't want to change clocks twice a year. It's very expensive. It's uh got many problems. Even crime, as crazy as it sounds, when you have light, you have no you have much less crime. So, the House voted it more than 80%. It's been sitting up there and hopefully we can get Tom Cotton to move. Tom Cotton is holding it. He shouldn't be holding it. It's an issue that people want. Uh it we had it a long time ago, but they used it for other purposes to get something else approved and they gave it up. But people want to have light in the evening. But really what they want more than that, more than that, by a lot. They don't want to have to go around changing clocks. I have the same thing last time, six months ago. We're changing clocks and nobody cha
